I have the Vikings Emperor Augustus. I use the aggressive grooved side for my initial with the grain pass, the less aggressive smooth side for the against the grain. Excellent razor!

If most brush makers recommend slightly above a 2:1 loft to knot width ratio, why is this skewered on the side of being a floppy brush? The adjustment does not seem centered in that respect. I think maybe a 46-54 range would have been better at least for the badger

Great video Kevy. Glad to have you back. I have the Tatra Masamune razor and it shaves great. Just received a Timeless stainless .68 and every shave for the last week has been BBS since I started using it. My Rockwell 6S is not being used for now. Good luck with the play. Have a great week. 👍

Good to see you back! I saved up a few comments. I have been using Gillette Rubie blades lately and they are very good 👍. I can get 10 good shaves from one blade. Also, I think I have found the failure point for synthetic brushes. The bristle ends break off and poke the face. The brush has been in use for about 2 1/2 years…

Bought the 6C as my second DE razor last month. Then I found a great package deal on the 6S... so I bought it. Had a really good shave with the 6C last week, and will be trying the 6S a little later. Since I thought that the 6C was heavy AF, I can only imagine how badly my hand will cramp up using the 6S. And since there was Aberfeldy in the soap, what's your favorite whisky, if you fancy a tipple?

The quicker you use the blade the more you have to buy, that's why blades don't last as long as they did back in the day, especially ones made in the UK. A minimum wage costs many jobs to go overseas to satisfy corporate greed.

What is meaning of aggressive shave

Nice shave Kevy. I’ve been having cold water shaves with good results. I use the teetotal Nivea balm too but I put it on before the aftershave. I like the look of that Tatara brush.
